What is Remythologizing?
Remythologize brings God to life within a contemporary scientific and social worldview, providing resources for Christians to live authentically and passionately. Faith should inspire us and push us to think outside the box — not live within one.
What's With the Crazy Logo?
12th century Jewish scholars have a phrase "Shiv′im Panim laTorah" roughly translating to "the Torah has 70 faces." Scripture is a dynamic, continually unfolding of God's will, from its onset it was meant to be wrestled with — to challenge the reader. Understanding scripture is like turning a gem stone — examining the beauty of each facet and seeing how the light dynamically changes at every turn. The Remythologize logo is the outline of a radiant cut - a gem cut renown for its 70 intricate facets.
Remythologize would not exist without the inspiration of brilliant scientists, theologians, and teachers including but not limited to Mike McHargue, Rachel Held Evans, Michael Gungor, Peter Enns, John Raines, Dan Koch, Rob Bell, Richard Rohr, Mary Kathleen Cunningham, Matt Carter, Toby Morrell, Joey Svendsen, Melanie and Seth Studley, Michael Barbaro, and Guy Raz.
